Booking Policies

Booking an Appointment

If you are booking an appointment for the first time for yourself or for a group, you will be asked to provide your full name, the best telephone number and email address at which to contact you, as well as a credit card number to hold your reservation.  Those without a credit card will be invited to try as a walk-in guest or to pre-pay their service at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. We recommend arriving 5 minutes early for your appointment to allow time to find parking and to fill out any paperwork.

Late Arrivals & “No Shows”

Late arrivals will result in your service(s) being customized to fit the remaining appointment time, where possible.  Appointments will be held for an appropriate grace period, after which they will be considered a “No Show” and the appointment slot may be given away.  “No Show” appointments are subject to a fee of 100% of the scheduled service value.  Sorry, no exceptions.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid charging a cancellation fee of 50% of the service value booked. By entering your credit card information, which is encrypted and stored in your customer profile, you agree to accept our cancellation and no-show policy fees. All applicable cancellation fee(s) will be charged to your card if you cancel within 24 hours of the start of your appointment.

To be considered valid, cancellations must be made through the location at which the appointment was made via email or phone at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. For appointments canceled within 24 hours, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service value booked will apply. For group bookings of two or more, each guest who cancels within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service booked. If you or any member of your group fails to cancel or show up for your appointment(s) you will be considered a no-show and the no-show policy will apply.

Credit Cards

A credit card will be used to hold an appointment but will not be charged at the time of booking an appointment. The only time a credit card will be charged is at the time of payment (as determined by the Guest) or due to a late cancellation or no-show. By providing your credit card to book an appointment you accept the terms of our cancellation and no-show policy and agree to have your credit card charged the applicable fees in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.

Gift Cards and Gift Certificates

Gift cards will be delivered to you activated and ready to use. Please treat them like cash. LashKind is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
Gift cards or gift certificates do not expire and are only valid in the country of purchase. Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable.

Lash Lift Packages

Lash Lift packages are non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid only in the country of purchase. Pricing varies by market. Lash Lift packages can only be purchased in a LashKind location and cannot be purchased by phone, email, or online at this time.

Babies & Fur Babies {Pets}

We do not provide supervision for children.  In a busy bar, small children pose a safety concern and must be kept under your watchful supervision at all times.  Children are not permitted in treatment areas.  In accordance with city regulations, we cannot permit animals in our bar {except for service animals}.  Sorry, pooches.

Lash Appointment Reminders

1) Contact lenses CANNOT be worn during lash applications. Please bring along a contact lens case with solution to store your lenses during your appointment. You may replace your contact lenses immediately following your appointment.

2) DO NOT wear eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, etc. to your appointment, as makeup residue may prevent your lash application from properly adhering.

3) Lashes MUST NOT contact water or steam for 24 hrs following application.  Therefore, appointments should be scheduled 2 – 3 days prior to big events {weddings, travel, etc.}.

4) Lash tinting may prevent lash extensions from properly adhering, and should be scheduled 1 – 2 days prior to a lash extension appointment.

5) Lash Extensions WILL NOT BE APPLIED on persons under the age of 18 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

6) Eyelash extensions CANNOT be applied to persons allergic to any type of adhesive {band-aids, etc.}

7) Please disclose any eye conditions, injuries, medications or treatments used on, in, or affecting the eye area in advance.

Wax Appointment Reminders

  • AVOID tanning 24 hours prior to your appointment.  AVOID facials 24 hours prior to a facial waxing appointment.

2) Make sure that you are NOT using alpha or beta hydroxy acids, Vitamin A or D treatments, chemical peels, glycolic acids, Retin-A, Differin, Accutane, or other prescription acne medications or chemical exfoliants in the areas to be waxed.  THESE PRODUCTS WEAKEN THE SKIN AND MAY CAUSE IT TO TEAR.

3) Ensure that areas to be waxed are free of cuts, abrasions, irritation, or infection. 4) The ideal length for hair being removed is about 1/4 inch.  So do a little trimming if the hair is too long, or wait a little longer if too short.
